Leche Flan


Leche Flan

Ingredients:

  • 6 Egg yolks
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4- 1/2 cup granulated sugar- caramel sauce

Instructions:

  1. Place the egg yolk, condensed milk, evaporated milk and vanilla in the large bowl. Stir to mix. Set aside.
  2. Put the granulated sugar in pan, turn heat into medium low. Let the sugar melt and caramelize. 
  3. Prepare the bowl,  add 1-2 teaspoon of caramelized sugar, you can add more depending on the sweetness you want to achieve. Evenly pour the custard mixture.
  4. Steam using rice cooker for 1 hour.
  5. Let it cool (once cool you can keep this in the refrigerator). 
  6. Flip the bowl upside down, slice and serve. ENJOY!
