Description:
A common staple in Asia, a left over rice with soy sauce and can be prepared for quick meal.

Ingredients:
4 cups leftover steamed white rice
4 pieces sliced ham or hotdog, minced
2 eggs, beaten
¼ teaspoon salt
3-6 crushed Garlic
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 cup green peas or chopped carrots
½ cup chopped green onions
Directions:
1. Gently mash the leftover rice using your hands or crush it using plastic spatula to loosen it. (Make sure that your hand are clean.)
2. Add salt and garlic or carrots. (Set aside in a separate container).
3. Meanwhile, heat the cooking oil in a frying pan. Once the oil becomes hot, sauté the ham or hotdog. Continue to cook the ham for 1 minute.
4. Place the ham or hotdog in a different container. In separate pan, Pour-in the beaten eggs. Cook one side for 1 minute. Flip the egg and cook the other side for another minute. French cut or chop the egg.
5. Add the rice and hotdog/ham into the chopped egg. Cook and continuously toss or mix every minute for 5 minutes until the color of the rice turns into light brown. (you may add soy sauce)
6. Add the green peas. Toss and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
Transfer to a serving plate.
